CHECK OUT CC CREAM

My latest favorite product is the totally amazing Clinique Moisture Surge CC Cream. So what does CC stand for? Several things, namely colour correction, calming & clarifying. I have been using CC cream on my own skin for the past three months & I like it so much that I no longer use my BB Creams or tinted moisturizers because CC is the bomb!
What I like most about this product is the fact that is so moisturizing. Clinique have used the technology of their famous moisture surge cream & combined it with a tinted moisturizer that has a colour correcting quality. Personally I have had a winter of dry eczema prone skin that tends to look red & blotchy in the mornings (charming….!). Even on my worst days when my skin is really sensitive & red I have been able to apply Cliniques fragrance free CC Cream without any allergic reaction.
The coverage is light & dewy due to the moisturizing quality of the cream, but I am constantly amazed at how it actually cuts back all the redness. On a natural makeup day CC Cream is all I use, followed buy a light dusting of Mineral powder. Then when I want a more polished look I apply my old favorite Super Balanced Makeup after the CC Cream in the areas where I want more coverage- which is generally under my eyes & across my cheeks & nose. I hate the heavy feel of makeup base & thats something you will never get with Clinique as all their foundations are light as air.
So who should use CC Cream? I think its fantastic for skin that is dry or sensitive & its brilliant for a more mature skin that needs the extra moisture. It has an SPF 30 so its a great product to use in the summer time- particularly if you choose a tone that is a little warmer than your natural skin, as this creates a golden glow. If you have run out of your BB Cream, I suggest you head to the Clinique counter & give CC a try. RRP about $50
