Perfect skin with Prevage
The past couple of months have been so busy with work that Im sorry to say my blogging skills have taken a back seat… However I am now keen to make it up to my readers & I can promise lots of new beauty stories over the next few weeks!
I will start by telling you about a foundation that not only gives your skin a perfect finish, it also acts as a skin care at the same time. The latest from Elizabeth Arden is Prevage Anti-Aging Foundation, & its the most amazing foundation I have tried for a very long time. I have been fan of Prevage for many years- in fact I was in the TV commercial promoting the Prevage serum when it was launched in NZ ten years ago. Its a brilliant product that contains the exclusive ingredient Idebenone, which is an effective antioxidant & I swear that using Prevage serum regularly helped cure my skin pigmentation (but thats another story- read it Here!)
So Prevage foundation has so much going for it. What I like most is that its super light-weight in texture, but still very rich & creamy. You only need very little to obtain a good coverage & it comes in a pump bottle which makes it easy to control how much you apply each time. I have been finding that one small pump is enough for a medium coverage through the T-Zone. A full face of makeup would need two pumps. Once you start lightly rubbing it onto your face it literally starts melting into the skin, providing a light & even finish that looks natural & glowing.
Prevage foundation is loaded with a potent blend of highly effective antioxidants including Idebenone & Green Tea extract that help protect the skin from environmental damage. The addition of Vitamin C helps boost the natural collagen & an SPF of 30 means that it doubles as a sunscreen. While doing my research on this foundation I read that women who had slept with it on overnight woke up with their skin feeling clear & hydrated! I personally dont recommend you do this, but I have to say that after using Prevage foundation myself for several weeks now, I have seen a marked improvement in my skin tone.
This gorgeous bottle of brilliance comes in eight colours- Im currently using Shade #3 which is a perfect for my yellow based olive skin. Given that its winter time & Im a little paler than usual I can see myself moving up to #5 for the summer. When you choose a foundation, take care to test it on your face & not your hand & remember that the foundation you dont see on your skin, is usually the right colour!
